Men free antelope from barbed wire fence in Montana

July 17 (UPI) -- A group of young men traveling down a rural Montana road pulled over to free an antelope that had become stuck in a barbed wire fence.

A video shows two men working to free the antelope, which had its head and front leg trapped in the barbed wire.

The men said they initially feared the animal was injured, but it ran off without any apparent discomfort.

"Out driving with friends and came upon this antelope stuck in the fence," one of the men wrote. "We hopped out and quickly went to the animal's aid. We thought it was a serious injury, but once we got closer we realized just his foot was stuck. He relaxed enough to let us help him. We freed the animal and he seemed to run away unscathed. Happy we got to him before a predator did."
